Coo - A Pigeon

Have you noticed?

When there's a murder mystery on television, it's never the pigeon who's accused of the murder.

I reckon that there's a powerful Pro-Pigeon lobbying group who put pressure on the writers and producers, such that the pigeon's reputation is never tarnished.

Or it that the Jews I'm thinking of?  :-)

Beach Bikini Babe

Seemingly with a bone through her nose. (Probably just a stray lock of bleached blonde hair.)

Yes, I do occasionally get some "sexy girl" slides, but today's  was suggested by the Bonus item below. :-(

Bonus : RIP Bunny Yeager.

The woman behind these two iconic pics.

Confused Look

If you could see me now, you'd see a puzzled look.

Far East (China, Japan, etc) from the script, but clearly a Crucifix on one roof.  And a very modernistic architecture.

I wonder where it is.   Okinawa??

Bonus - Blink Rapidly.

Birthday Cake

Yay Birthday Cake.

Yes, I've had a birthday. which accounts for a lack of slides during my alcohol induced coma. This cake, which completely mis-spells my name, may not be worthy of Cake Wrecks, is my gift to you, dear reader.

A REAL "where in the world quiz time", and one which might surprise you.  This 1992 shot is of a modern glass and metal hi-tech Hyatt Hotel.   But where you you find it?

Boy with a Yacht

To be honest, this slide wasn't that old.

July 1968 and colour, but it was out of focus, so a bit of fake ageing hid that slightly.

Ah, Nostalgia

Bonus - I know it's just lazy to post YouTube Video links, but come on...The Rolling Stones at the feet of Howling Wolf singing How Many More Years.  That's gotta be a 5 star link.

Map and Compass

There was a story in the papers recently, that the prevalence of GPS and SatNav's has put the Ordnance Survey's maps in danger of obsolescence. Obviously, my Media Bullshit Detector starter pinging, but there is a core of truth in the story. More's the pity, as OS maps are a fantastic resource, and I love them.

So, today's slide is a welcome reminder of proper navigation - map and compass (lanyard round neck.)
