It's the Small Details..

Yes, I know that this slide is out of focus, but that doesn't completely detract from this detract from the slide's interest.

Two things pique my interest :
1. Those Hairy Leg
2. The odd  cylinder on the car in the background.

My assumptions -
1. Part-wolf.
2. Some ancient forced air air-conditioning system.

Your theories are welcome.

Bonus - This blog specializes in 35mm slides, bu there are other forms of found images.  My colleague Tamas, for example, found this print.  On the back - "Mam and grandkids" and "Kays" and a date of 18 May 1992.  Hmmm.   I wonder who they are.

Have You Seen The Other Side?

This was from a box of slides markd as "Devon", and certainly it looks like Devon or Cornwall.  This is supported by the pub sign on the right, and it's mention of Plymouth.

However, I'm be fascinated to know where.

Alas, I cannot make out the name of teh pub, and the sign on the lefts says "Have You Seen The Other Side?".

Googling doesn't help much.

Any suggestions?

Jack and Catherine

I thought I'd post a particular favourite slide of mine.  There's something particular painterly about this slide - or rather like a still from a decent David Lynch film.

So, I'm giving this pair names honouring Jack Nance and Catherine Coulson, two stalwarts of the Lynch metier. What's Their Story?

A title that could herald all sorts of weirdness.

But no.  Just someone's long exposure experiments in an urban environment.

There Stands A Man...

His name?  -  Unknown.

But from this slide, we know that he's a lover, not a fighter.   A ducker, not a diver.

A man who steadfast in his beliefs, but willing to show his tender side.  A man who can crack walnuts between his butt-cheeks, but who can whip up an omelette using only vegan ingredients.

A man from the sixties.
