Freize : noun, In interiors, the frieze of a room is the section of wall above the picture rail and under the crown moldings or cornice. By extension, a frieze is a long stretch of painted, sculpted or even calligraphic decoration in such a position, normally above eye-level. Frieze decorations may depict scenes in a sequence of discrete panels. The material of which the frieze is made of may be plasterwork, carved wood or other decorative medium.

I know I complain about boring slides of churches, scenery and touristy shite, but sometimes there are some admirable slides.
Like this slide of ruins in the Greek city of Epesus. The city (in modern day Turkey) was famed for the nearby Temple of Artemis (completed around 550 BC), one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Among many other monumental buildings are the Library of Celsus, and a theatre capable of holding 25,000 spectators.

As the first person in Hoxton to ride a fixed-gear bike and open a Muesli Cafe, he may well have a good claim to that title. (Tosser.)

In response to very nearly one email, it's time to post another slide from those wacky Hollings Fashion Shows - and today it's 1988 and Swimsuits.
And in the frame, two amateur models. Kelly (left) is a plumber's mate, specializing in slaughterhouse drainage. On the right, Trudie who hits ducks with frying pans. Not as a career, more of a serious obsession.

I think this slide says a lot about the angst of waiting in today's non-stop world.
Or maybe just a picture of a woman in Reno.

On seeing this slide, Igor (the SlideGuy intern and CFO) remarked that the toddler looked like a young Wade Dooley.
Myself: I cannot see likenesses in people, so I was unable to refute the thought.

Dear Prince Igiwembe,
No, I can't help you with your transfer of finds from the Nigerian National Bank. However, can I interest you in some male potency pills? They's made a new man out of me.
Your sincerely, Mrs Trellis of North Wales.
And here's a slide of some more Hula-Hoopers.

or maybe Miniature Railway.
Something for all you fans of miniature steam locomotives. Today - Clevedon Miniature Railway.
I would link to a fully informative website for said attraction, but the Clevedon Railway website is utter webshite.
However, that research did lead to Miniature Railway World, and the frightening statistics about the growing numbers of miniature railways infesting Britain.

Woke up this morning to a light flurry of snow.
2 or 3 mm of snow, where it's drifting but enough to mean that the streets of Derby will be jammed with numpties, morons and idiots. Makes me glad that today is a "use up holiday from 2016" day. Back under the duvet.
Two hour later... snow has gone.
However, this litte lady (?) is luckier, and looks to be having a snow-filled fun-day.

A bit of a coup, this slide.
I was passed it by the neighbour of Marilyn Manson's gardener's parole officer. Or his wife, to be honest.
She was given it in exchange for a plate of cookies....and it was revealed that the little lad in white is...Marilyn Manson.
Or so I believe.

Nowadays, it seems like it's just herds and herds of "Bad Girls" and "Teenage Delinquents" roming our streets.
Oh how I long from the days of yore, when nice girls in ice outfits and nice shoes would possibly join in some fun at the church social.
Or maybe I'd make an exception for Bettie Page. NSFK NSFW

Charlie and Bob, with their best ever Christmas present. A poodle who they names Fifi.
Unfortunately, Fifi is infact a male, and preferred to be known by the moniker "Rat-Throttler".
Months later, Fifi (enraged by the teasing from other dogs) attacked Charlie, and bit his patella off. Fifi "went to live on a farm" after that.
