As a kid, I recall finding an American car number plate in the street.
In the outskirts of Aberdeen. It struck me as odd at the time, and it still does. Sure there were quite a few Yanks in the Scottish Oil City, but it was years out-of-date, and not a particularly good condition one.
Looking at this slide, I immediately remembered that number plate - it was from Montana - "Big Sky Country". However, I don't think this slide was taken in Montana.
