Loch Coruisk, 1967

No, not one of my pictures.  Despite my Scots Heritage, and love of the west coast, I've managed to avoid visiting Skye. Yet.

Loch Coruisk (in Scottish Gaelic, Coire Uisg, the "Cauldron of Waters") is an inland fresh-water loch, lying at the foot of the Black Cuillin in the Isle of Skye, in the Scottish Highlands.

Strangely, it's not changed much in the 46 years since the slide was taken...
