Lassie was essentially THE big start of the late forties and early fifties. Starring in their own series of successful movies, and the less successful "Lassie In Space" radio series, and having Elizabeth Taylor and Norman Wisdom as Co-Stars.
However, after a hushed-up Sheep-Worrying incident, Lassie "retired", moving to a farm with publicist / lawyer / agent / factotum Wade Wilson. (Wad is the one on the left.)
