Obligatory Cathedral
Well, it is Easter Sunday, so I suppose something religious would be fitting.
It's not every week that we celebrate the Conception of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
I read an article in HeadPress years ago, arguing that the "nasty, killjoy) Christians turned a feast of fertility into a morbid, death and rebirth event. The clues are still around : Easter / Oestre, the egg and rabbit as symbols, but most tellingly, around nine months prior to Christmas. I like that angle. ;o)
