Usually, I'm complaining that I have no idea where or when a picture was taken, but that can't be the case here. I bought a box of slides marked "Wetton, Derbyshire", and uncovered a veritable treasure trove.
Most of them were slides of sepia tones old prints, and I had great day one bank holiday taking my own photos at the same spot, for some Before and After shots - care to see some?
This slide had a hand-written note of "Off the Wetton to Butterton Road, Feb 1991". So that's fairly clear. As we're still experiencing snow in reasonable quantities around here, I thought it would be apt to use this as a background for my PC.
