You know...just last night I was thinking last night, there's a lot we can learn from these reeds. They grab a small patch of soil, and grow slowly. They take their chances when the sun shines, and when it's wet, they just sit and wait it out. The stream may be fast flowing, but this clump has patience, and just lets the world flow past.

This time, "Steuben's National", as seen of the cheerleader's sash, reveals basically nothing. Perhaps related to the one of the towns of Steuben in the USA. Perhaps somewhere else, named after Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben.
So, we just have to get clues from the slide itself. An all-girls high school. Clothes suggest mid 1970's to me.

Anyone else remember the mid 70's fashion for "Weeping Child" paintings ? Anyone recall the curse stories? People would buy these horrible artworks, and find that their house would burn down.
