My limited research suggest it might be The Sheraton, at Praia do Vidigal, Rio de Janeiro.

This is one of the jungle adventure series, and is of Iguazu Falls on the border of  Argentine and Brazil. And... it's rather spectacular. Innit?

Mary Jane feeds the strange bird whose call scared all of us as we rowed into the jungle camp in the total darkness if the night before.

Keen zoologists will recognise these as being Hapsberg Seals, the only seals native to Austria.   Usually found need Innsbruck, these ones are actually in the Secret Zoo in the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte.

Regular Readers - yes, there are some -  will know that I will often rant about slides with no information. Well, in the recently scanned batch, one antique adventurer is gaining their revenge.

Remembering that the slide is only 2 inches square, with a 24mmx 36mm slide, one side is crammed with scrawly, hand-written text (obscure this slide date :-( ) saying 

Our first overnight jungle camp on the Amazon River. First door on right was ours. The long walk lead to the toilets' A tapir walks through here at night.
