There I said.   And I'm proud to be Scottish.  There's many many things to be proud of (and yes, some things to be ashamed of) and I don't use it as an excuse to hate the english.

However, what bugs me is that so many folk can't separate the real Scotland from the Tartan Tourist Trap / Highland Games / Clan Kilt / Victorian invented crap that this American slide hints at.  And don't get me started on "Lone Bagpiper" shite.
