Where in the world? Number 414

 

Once again, a slide with no information, and I've a hankering to try and track down the location.

And I succeeded.  Well, I am a genius.

So, to share the fun, do you think it is

A. Local Government Building, Aukland, New Zealand,  or

B. College of Design and Architecture, Budapest, Hungary or

C. Canadian Defense Forces HQ, Quebec, Canada, or

D. Oregon State Capitol Building, Salem, Oregon, USA.

"The Church" Restaurant and "The Belfry"

 

Yes, another of those Then and Now pairs.

Again, there was no info written on the slide, so where do you start in trying to search for a location. Luckily, I iz a genius, and in a mere 76 hours, I'd tracked the location down.

The Church restaurant has since closed, but it was at 70 Brunswick Street, Stratford, Ontario. 

Thanks to Google Streetview, I can confirm that the building looks very VERY similar in 2020.

You'll know the story by now. A rather interesting slide, but with no date, location or information.

It certainly looks like it's been taken in France,  but can you work out exactly where?

Clues a-plenty from the signposts, but...it's not always as easy as you expect.
