This sad old Rust Bucket seems to be the "Queen of Bermuda".
Quite an interesting ship, but quite a tedious slide.
Being a construction of your humble blogger Tepid Halibut, with the aim of posting one vintage slide image per day, from now until Kingdom Come. (Or until Mr Halibut gets bored.)

The Christmas Selection Continues
...and I love this slide. The snugness of this suburban wife, the fake aluminium christmas tree, the copy of Consumer magazine, and the crowning glory - The opened present of a French Fry Cutter. Pure Suburbia.
Don't ignore the mysterious lurking bloke on the right, ready to give Mrs Consumer the Christmas Gift she really craves tonight. Curses.
Bonus - Super Snowflake maker
I've seem several houses with Christmas Decorations already (In fact, I suspect that were there all year, but not illuminated until recently.) but as November fades, it's almost time for the depressing selection of tat to brighten the festive season. Because, it's what Little Baby Jesus will have wanted.
Maybe I'll head over to Bronners. Except, that's on the wrong side of the ocean.
Bonus -
Summer time, and time for another slide from the Woodchurch Carnival 1968 set.
What's not to love about this slide?
Bonus -
I can imagine the front page story in the Esher and Surbiton Gazette.
A return to the "Miss St Petersburg 1974" box of slides. Maybe if you're good, you get one of the Swimsuit Round slides tomorrow. Maybe. (Edit. Damn. A duplicate.)
I can find nowt about Miss St Petersburg competition in 1974, but googling did remind me of America's obsession with Booty, sorry Beauty Pageants, such as this page.
Anyway.... the fashions .... wow. And it appears that the chap in the centre is Dave Miller. OK.
Bonus - Institute of Illegal Images in San Francisco, California, and their collection of Blotter Acid.
Enjoying a patch of winter sunshine, Aggie, Felicity, Graham and Wilbur.
Bonus - Mushrooms communicate with each other using up to 50 ‘words’
Bonus 2 - The Ingenious Design of the Aluminum Beverage Can
Not the first time that I've posted a slide from this parade , so I know that this is at 919 Jefferson Ave, Toledo, OH.
Yes, September sees the return of the Clown-Face Gang, after a 10-year hiatus.
Bonus - Sticky (2014) - Narrated by biologist Nicholas Carlile, this animation tells the story of how he and other scientists rediscovered the world's rarest insect (living on just a single bush on a sea stack) and how they're trying to bring it back from the brink of extinction.
Bonus 2 -

| I'm getting tired of this Death Of The Queen stuff... |
It also gives me a chance to go hunting on Google to figure out which State and/or City this was.
And lo and behold - it's 7439 S St Lawrence Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60619, USA. Thanks to, Google Streetview, we even have a picture of the property. How cool is that ?

Bonus : Music - Meh. Animation - Yeah.
Oh Boy. I'm sure a psychotherapist could have a field day with this image, and what exactly it represents.
Again, it's the small details that catch my attention.
But, of course, we've been here before.
