Sounds like the name of an OnlyFans artiste, but no. Flowering Cherry. A tree or bush.
And quite a tedious picture of one.

Being a construction of your humble blogger Tepid Halibut, with the aim of posting one vintage slide image per day, from now until Kingdom Come. (Or until Mr Halibut gets bored.)

I got a letter from Stringy Bob:
“Still on suicide watch

Spotted a marsh fritillary during association
Was roundly ignored

There's probably a better word for it, but this avenue of trees does remind me of a cathedral.
No info on the slide, obviously, but the lack of a formal road up this avenue does seem rather unusual. Perhaps one of you readers may be able to enlighten me.
As a pure guess, I wonder if it might be in Hidcote Manor Gardens... but purely a guess.
Bonus - 25 Minutes of Demolition Videos
It's not what you expect to see as you drive through the UK's countryside. However, the isle of Anglesey is home to the UK's only wild, free-roaming herd of elephants.
It dates from August 1917, when a captive herd kept in the Duke of Menai escapes from his estate, and found the countryside to their liking. Wartime manpower shortages meant that they weren't rounded up quickly, and by the time the war ended, the herd had established itself in the local's heritage. So, meh, let them roam, was the view. And they still do.
Bonus :
or maybe Three Funghi.
Not a bad natural history image... I like it.

Not so much a Tedious Tuesday slide, more of a completely underwhelming slide. Those could be anything, really.
The American Plains Bison (technically Bison bison bison) has seen a welcome in the past few decades. In the past, well, America does love a good slaughter.
Bonus : As a complete contrast, something totally over whelming. Talking Heads. "Stop Making Sense." Remastered in 4K. The Whole Show. Free.
or to be accurate, two butterflies plotting to break into your house, ransack the place and steal your car.
Nobody ever suspects butterflies of being psychotic criminals.

Bonus 2 - Two scientists walk into a bar. The bartender asks what they would like to drink. The first scientist says “I’ll have a glass of H2O please.”
The second scientist says “I’ll have H2O too.”
The second scientist dies.
To mark Twos-Day (the once in a lifetime? day of 22-2-22 ) I went looking for an suitably appropriate slide.
And gave up quite quickly.
Instead, here's a tedious slide of a slightly interesting event.
It seems to be a muddy lake with a writhing mass of catfish (?) feeding on a raccoon carcass. Or something.
Tasty.
Bonus - Movie trailers have undergone a huge evolution. They’ve gone from those cheesy voice-of-God narrators in the ‘80s and ‘90s, to boojes and bwaas.
Today : Today is a palindromic ambigram day
So, just taking a few days off work.
I've really felt the pressure build up over the past few weeks, it seems like I'm dealing with an incompetent bunch of idiots, and "The Company" relies on me to keep them from ruining everything. We will see.
So, this dark forbidding wood with a small patch of colour illuminated by teh sun...seems appropriate.
I wonder if HR will see this post an panic...
Bonus -
No, I've not been playing with the colour settings of this. I suspect that the unexpected colours are just Transmitted light vs Reflected Light.
Bonus - in 1524, a statue of the Virgin Mary at the Cathedral in Riga, Latvia, was accused of being a witch. They put it on trial by throwing it in the river. Since the wooden statue floated, they declared it guilty and burned it.

It's a shape
It's natural.
I guess it is a shape in nature. Fine.
I could carry on with this sequence of slides, but I sense that boredom is creeping thru' the millions and millions of BlogReaders here.
Bonus - (Some) People deserve to be punched. ‘It disgusts me’: how a wealthy couple lied to get a vaccine meant for Indigenous people

Interesting fact. Ancient Vietnamese morticians used pine cones to prevent rectal seepage during the Lying-In-State of recently deceased royalty.
Yes, you may have been worrying over what today's shape would be, and the team who chose Star were right.
Not your common or garden five armed starfish, this is the more unusual Alpine Starfish with eleven arms. Nice.

This week, my loyal blog-followers, we shall mainly be appreciating some slides from the Shape In Nature set. Won't that be fun?
We start with a cobweb. You probably know that cobwebs are made of spider silk, and that is 132 times stronger than titanium. But did you know that cobwebs taste of candy-floss? Taste one and see.
