Feels like Spring has Arrived

 

Last day of April, and finally, it's beginning to feen like spring has arrived at Chateau Slideguy.

This slide seems to echo how I feel.  Trees not yet in leaf, but blue skies and sunshine. Yay.

 Slide is labelled "Pandy  Henllan", so some where in Clwyd, or similar vowel desert area.

I have to admit it, post of the time I am searching through boxes of slides, looking, hoping for some image that I can sneer at.

But occasionally, I come across a 35mm slide that makes me thing "Flipping Heck, that is an excellent image."

Today, we have another one of those. The only info is "July 1968" printed on the Kodachrome slide. Probably England, from the look of the other slides in the box.  Excellent.

Today, Balenciaga showed their Summer 2023 collection, with scrawny models, wearing ridiculous clothes, tramping thru' a badly lit recreation of a mud-slide. No, Really.

No info on this slide, as usual, but there's a definite Midnight Sun / Scandinavian feel to this slide.  Nice!

Bonus - Metal music is so popular in Finnish Culture, that there's a metal band in Finland targeted towards children. The band is called Hevisaurus and they are a heavy metal band that sings about Dinosaurs and Children's stories.
