Again, it's the small details that catch my attention.

• The cowboy's cap-gun, with a paper trail dangling.
• That pink monstrosity - a swim-cap, I believe.

But, of course, we've been here before.

The observant of you will have noticed that this slide does not feature any pizzas.  In fact, I do not recall seeing any 35mm slides featuring pizzas.  Strange, I know, but that';s life.  Maybe pizzas didn't exist before the digital camera age.

Perhaps these Americans in their back yard are waiting for the evening, when the pizza oven will be fired up, for an evening of bread/tomato/cheese related cuisine.

Apparently, there is some sort of Euro International Championship Football Superbowl match happening this evening, and local team "Ingerlund Ingerlund" are playing Les Azzuris. Let's hope for a good, fair, enjoyable match, with the best team of overpaid, diving, prima-donnas winning.

I had always just presumed that Steam Engine and Traction Engine preservation was a peculiarly British thing - the preserve of gruff old Yorkshire men and retired whippet breeders. However, this box of slides showed that America has these interests as well. 

This engine seems to be called after Lynn L Lagworthy, of Alfred, New York. The notice at the bottom leads to  Williams Grove Steam Engine Association, which is still going ! (I presume that WGSEA = WGHSEA.
