Finally, England's hot spell has broken, and we have rain.  It seems strange for England to welcome the rain, but ... weird time.

I don't think this image of a recent English mountain stream, because a/ England has no mountains, b/ the image dates to 1984, and c/ AI Suggests

Fine, suits me.

So, here's a nice beach scene to make you think of holidays, sand fleas, and noisy Magyars shouting at each other.

No idea where this is, but it's probably not Iceland.

Presumably Sandwich Lake means Squam Lake NH rather than Stonar Lanke, Sandwich, Kent.

OK, the slide was marked with "1984", but I can't actually easily figure out where this image was taken.  America probably (from the cars) and possibly the southern states (the French-ish architecture) but other than that...nowt.

The sign on the wall...too little detail to read it. That logo...distinctive, but...nope.

Ah, Sunny Sundays, and the Rubin family have a day at Fort F'tang, a colonial era military fort that's now a woody national park. Perfect for  family to visit, and have a wander and a picnic.

Here, Glenda Rubin shows Meghan and Kate how to roll the perfect doobie, while Cuthbert mopes at the lack of squirrels to turture.

Here in Slideville, this late November Sunday has had quite a few patches of sunshine, and it made me think of hot summer days with hot summer babes in bikinis. Like Madge and Gladys here. They do rather demonstrate the link between Tanning (exposur of skin to the sunshine) and Tanning (the treatment of leather to make it tough and resilient.)
