Yes, Tedious Tuesday again, and today ....well. Something.

Outwardly, a failed photo, with under-exposed details. While playing with the contrast does reveal some intricate details in the walls, it's still difficult to make out any real structure. Except, seemingly, a curving staircase leading ever upwards.

And I really like that original stark image.

In the background, "SEA WORLD" and "TRAINING DOLPHINS SCHOOL, so I'm thinking that this is possibly Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, USA.

Or, it could be Guilford in England.  I really dunno.

Alas, the dynamic range was beyond teh capabilities of Ektachrome, and the lower third was dark. Very dark.

So, I tried to correct the photo....with only so-so results.

But with some PSP know-how, I've salvaged some sort of image, and am now wondering if luminous fingernails (like the pink-clad Edna's) might be a distinguishing sign of the undead.

Saturday on the Silty Shoreline

So, I recently relocated the slide scanner, and simultaneously rediscovered by joy in scanning slides. (A lot depends upon the subjects of the slides - there are good boxes and bad boxes.)

So, this one was one of yesterday's scans and there are a LOT of this family. Today's is from a trip to the beach, possibly on / near the Isle of Wight.  Ah, memories. Building damns and structures to retain the tidewater.
