Another non-descript slide from Box 147. Arid desert scenery, limited identifying information.

But, on a hunch, I started searching far n wide, and ...yup.

Armageddon / Megiddo. Where the battle at the end of the world will take place.

Allegedly.

No info on this slide, but  it seems to be Israeli.

Individual plaques on the ...umm... steps, have a 10-1973 date, so probably Yom Kippur War - related.

The very Acme of Tedious Slides.

A exotic location (Israel) and possibly the place that gave the name to Shallot,
and all that this traveller could do was photograph the road sign.  From inside the coach.

Dull.

Just scanned this last night, and as usual...no information.

However, from the other slides in the set, I suspect that it's Israel, and I think I recognise a recycled T62 Tank Turret. So, making a logical extrapolation...
