What's interesting (amongst so many thoughts) is the TV Dinner tray and stand, but no TV. Weird.

Being a construction of your humble blogger Tepid Halibut, with the aim of posting one vintage slide image per day, from now until Kingdom Come. (Or until Mr Halibut gets bored.)

The bathroom of dreams and The Bathroom of Nightmares.
Sure, the fully enclosed bath with a scenic view is stunningly odd, but the big question is.
Who needs that many towels?

Pink bedroom, with what looks like Gymkhana rosettes, and a large My Little Pony sort of thing.
But those black, soul-less eyes. Surely a devil minion from Beelzebub's domain.

Yes, it's the return of Milton and this time he's accompanied by the lovely Maude. Again, they're protecting the bird box. This time, there's a bird using the birdbox, but it looks rather immobile, so there's a suspicion that Milton stuffs birds in his spare time.
Come to think of it, that might explain Maude facial expression.
Uncle Milton was proud of the bird-box in the front garden. VERY proud. And you can tell, can't you. Just out of shot is the shotgun that Uncle Milton used to protect that bird-box from marauding cats and critters. "No tom-cat is gonna attack them fruit-warblers" he'd mutter to himself all through night patrol. The state found him a secure room to stay in soon after this.
NB. This was a colour Ektachrome slide from the early 1950's, but due to storage conditions, it's deteriorated and colour went a bit doo-lally. So, a monochrome version is probably the best you can expect.
"I wonder," I thought. "Is a provocative title for a post more likely to attract the wrong sort of surfer, or will it lead to fame, infamy and fortune?" Let's find out !
Today's slide is a beauty, and as is traditional, it raises more questions than answers. The two obvious questions for me - "Why?" and "What?" Specifically, why was it taken, and what is that on the left-hand wall. To me, it looks like a feeding hatch big enough for a tray. Is Cousin Hunch Addams locked in a room, fed daily via the hatch, and scaring the neighbours with his unwordly moaning all night. Could be !
