The only thing on the slide was the Nov 1959 Processing date, but with a little bit of Google-Fu, I am 99.9% Certain that this is Flagler Street in Miami, Fla. (Jackson/Byrons, Lili Dior, Woolworths, etc)

And the car advert for The Big Fisherman does rather confirm the 1959 date.

As you see the bikini clad bimbos sometimes have to throw on a light jacket when a light shower happens - but it helps cool down those hot bods.

Today's slide is going to delight the fans of All-Ways Travel Inc (Motto - Our Heart Is In Travel)m as we celebrate their grand opening at number (115... some street.). In Fact... I wonder ... 

Yes, with a little Googling, we appear to have a possible pin-pointing in time. An article in the St Petersburg Independent of 18-Feb-1969.  How Rare !

Just a street scene for 1959 Miami, but there's just so much detail in the slide, that I've left the scan at the original scanned resolution (2400x1600).

In fact, you can see the headline on the newpaper on the right. It's The Miami News, and the headline is US(?) Probes Tanker Explosion. Cool huh ?

Fifty Three Years on, and I'm sure that Miami's not gotten any quieter. Nice to see an advert for The Big Fisherman, one of the few religious movies that Disney have been involved in. Looks like Jackson's-Byrons no longer exists.
