Passing Fields of ... Stuff

 

The great thing about long national or transnational train journeys is that you have time to just stare out the window, and look at Stuff passing by.

And sometimes you want to record the exceptional scenes, so you can bore your friends and neighbours with blurred images of stuff.

Word of advice ... Don't.

Bonus -If you have trouble with sleeping too much, and are looking for something to keep you awake, worrying about existential dread.... may I recommend The Nutty Putty Cave Horror.

Now, I'm no nautical expert, but there's something that doesn't look right about that yacht.

The good news is that there's still a yacht bearing the name Yukon Jack available for hire,  

However, I'm not certain that this is the same actually boat. And I don't care enough to try and investigate.

I know that it's only late February, but I am looking forward to picnics in the sunshine with friends and family.

Holiday in Dumfries

 

As some of you know, I've had a short break from work, and headed up to Dumfries for a few days. Schools were back, weather was turning chilly and the lockdown shackles were loosened until the next panic.

Enjoyable, and rather non-touristy. Had a couple of jaunts to the sea shore, including Kirkcudbright on a sunny day.

I may return.
