Having just done my weekly shop in another identikit warehouse supermarket, this slide made me smile. Of course we all hanker for the fresh produce of a local market, but ... it's easier to support Tesco/Asda/Sainsburys etc. Sigh.

The Desert Landscape

 

One of the side-effects of watching quality television is that certain scenery become inextricably linked to certain actvities.

Case in point, years ago, I would have seen this image and thought "Lovely desert scenery". Now, my thought is "I wonder if this is where Walt and Jesse cooked up in their Winnebago."

Here in Slideville-on-Sea, the sun is out, the wind is ... refreshing, and it's great day for soaking up the rays.

Bonus 2 - This medicinal plant,found only in dark rainy forests is called Oodhu Paavai in Tamil. It blows out pollen grains periodically through its funnel like structure.

WOW!

This is one of the jungle adventure series, and is of Iguazu Falls on the border of  Argentine and Brazil. And... it's rather spectacular. Innit?
