The English Water Spaniel died out in the 1920s-ish.

But that apparent small sand island is a doggo of some sort. The slide says "udo swimming at Constantine Bay, 1986", so ... yeah.

This is, obviously, the island of Squat, in Derbyshire's Foremark Reservoir.

Often mistaken for St Michael's Mount in Cornwall, Squat is actually a 86% scale model of St Michael's Mount and was built by students foe 1993's University of Wessex Rag Week.

As it's true again.  A mysterious square image slide (probably 126 format ektachrome...too small to be 127) with a plain, unwritten frame.

But, using the power on The Interweb and Cheese, I think's I've located the harbour in question.

You can probably guess where this slide was taken -yup One mile from Herodsfoot. Possibly here

Herodsfoot is one of 51 Thankful Villages in the UK and the only one in Cornwall (the 'thankful villages' are those that lost no men in World War I). It is "doubly thankful", as one of only 14 villages that lost no men in World War II either.

Yes, it's the actual car park used by King Arthur while questing for the Holy Grail of a Decent, Low-Priced Fish & Chip meal in Cornwall.

Actually, It was quite easy to find the same location today (Well, Sept 2018, to be honest.) and frankly, the modern scene makes Tintagel just as unappealing to me.

Not a particularly tedious slide for a Tuesday, but not great photography.

A sloping horizon and questionable exposure are the obvious flaws, but there's also some camera shake and a load of dirt.

T'is a pity.

And yet, with a little effort, it can be improved. But never to Calendar Quality.

Train at Altitude

Most odd.

From a box of slides with world-wide locations, but none labelled. However, there were other slides with a distinct Peru / South America / Inca / Macchu Pichu feel to them.

So, my assumption is that this is from a trip on one of Bolivia / Peru's high altitude train services, and the "doctor" is dispensing oxygen to those who need it. Just a guess, but if you know more....
