If my eye is correct, this photo depicts the historic Palais de l'Isle, a unique 12th-century building situated on an island in the Thiou river in Annecy, France. The structure has served multiple purposes throughout history, including as a prison, courthouse, and administrative headquarters, and currently operates as a local history museum. It is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the old town of Annecy, often referred to as the "Venice of the Alps" due to its canals and river. Today

Or maybe it's Conway in Wales.

... but No !   That would be an error, as a simple use of Alta Vista (or later search engine) reveals that Cremerie des Trois Rivieres is a Canadian company.

Bonus - The creamery is now closed, but the name lives on as an Ice Cream Shop and  Pest Control Service.  Is it just me or is that a strange pairing of businesses?

Castle Howard was the venue that masqueraded as Brid... oh.  Why bother. It's not even an interesting fact.

Mullaly's Milk Moving Machinery

 

No info on this slide, as usual, so I'm presuming that this is a prototype version of Mullaly's Milk Moving Machinery. 

This was Rhodesia's second most popular milk tanker filling mechanism, but was actually developed in Egypt, within sight of the Aswan Dam.

There, that's something you didn't know.

People make slides of the oddest things.

Like a series of slides of military uniforms of the Napoleonic Era, such as this.

Obviously, this is the Batavian Republic's Criminal Punishment Brigade, an earlier version of the fictional Dirty Dozen.  The brigade was made up of Murderers, Highwaymen, Pirates, embezzlers, poisoners, jay-walkers, arsonists, Ponzi Scheme managers, tax-avoiders, sodomites, speeders, weedheads, vampires and politicians.
