I love slides like this.

I mean... WTF?       Why would anyone stage a photo like this?

I'm sure the slide does date from the sixties, and it's clear that the "Watts Still Seething" edition of Life dates from July 1966, but what's the connection with the rest of the articles.

The best I can come up with is that's it's a care parcel being sent off to  ... someone.  Anyone got a better suggestion.
