No info on this slide, except for a date of October 1967. From the selection of cars, my first thought was "That must be London."

But I was wrong.

With a bit of investigating, I believe that this is actually Dublin in Eire. The "Happy Ring" building was strangely of little help...initially, but did eventually help after finding this image.

 To celebrate the 2022 St Patrick's Day, we have another dip into slide set number 87 "A Trip To Ireland".

And after a fair bit of correction (thanks for the massively underexposed slide) we have this image of the The Singing Daughter of Mick O'Murphy.  Few people know that their song "My Lovely Goat" was fourth placed in Ireland's "Song for Eurovision 1973", and was later plagiarized by Father Ted.

In the village of Balamahorgan, Patrick O'Flaherty was a genuine legend.

Seven wives (and four different mother-in-laws). Twenty-three children. Twice shot and left for dead. On the run from Interpol, the patent office and The Vatican. Drinking champion at Durty Nelly's Bar.

Yes, rather a full life.  And he died six months after this photo, at the age of 33. The candle that burns twice as bright, lasts half as long.
