It's wasn't a success.

"Leaving Grand Teton National Park" featured Nic Cage gurning, and suffering attention deficit disorder. Zero Oscars. Nice cinematography

Old Faithful

Even without the handwritten note, I would have suggested that this was Old Faithful, in Yellowstone Park.   It could be Geyser or Strokkur in Iceland,, but there were VERY few visirors to Iceland in the fifties, when this was taken.

I bet that teh scene would have many more visitors if the same shot was taken today.
