I'm sure that 97% of the readership will look at the name, and the labels on the map and say "China".

And you would be sort of correct.

A genuine tip o' the sombrero to the 3% who said "Taiwan" or "Chinese Teipei" or Republic of China. Yes, the reservoir is located on that island.

It's just...artfully rustic.

The thatched cottage immediately made me think that this was English, but the house / gate number of 606 seems rather high for a quiet little English village.

So...I have no clue where this is.

Yes, predictable trolling from the slide-meister, but I need to amuse myself.

Some of you will recognize this view as being from the cable-car which climbed Mount Ain, just outside Norwich, in Norfolk.   The cable car was dismantled in 1977 after Mount Ain was washed away in a heavy thunderstorm.
