I had always just presumed that Steam Engine and Traction Engine preservation was a peculiarly British thing - the preserve of gruff old Yorkshire men and retired whippet breeders. However, this box of slides showed that America has these interests as well.
This engine seems to be called after Lynn L Lagworthy, of Alfred, New York. The notice at the bottom leads to Williams Grove Steam Engine Association, which is still going ! (I presume that WGSEA = WGHSEA.
