The Local Market

Ah. The beautiful colours of Kodachrome.

More intriguing is "Where"

The rest of the set were stereotypically American, but this car park has British Cars and a statue that looks rather British King -ish....  Bermuda?   But those hills in the background.

My Guess is Cape Town.

What's This Focus Setting For ??

Yes, what could have been.   Had the photographer taken a second or two to focus the lens, I could have ended up with a previously unknown cheesecake shot of a young Marilyn Monroe.

Instead... well... I'm reduced to collecting lobsters for a cheesecake manufacturer.  It's a job, I suppose.

The Show Must Go On !

As you see, nothing, but NOTHING stops the Salzburg Sewage Department Orchestra from their rendition of The Blue Danube Waltz.  Now power failure, not audience indifference, not even First Oboeist Franz Hutter's twisted ankle.  Nothing.

Dog Poop ... and some Pepsi-Cola

Ethel and Hilda, and their lovely lap-dogs Dante and Snuffles.

After their day at the park, they have their leftovers - two bags of dog crap and a empty four pack of Pepsi.

The car number plate says (I think) Barnsdall, Oklahoma... which seems rather odd. Either this is the only car in Barnsdall, or this is a promotional photo. Hmmm.

Ride The 1066 Electrics

One for all you train buffs out there.   A pair of wonderfully mis-matched colour schemes.

It appears that S61355 was one of the 1066 Electrics, which frequented the Hastings area. Of so the websites suggest.

Swans In Milk

From the title, you may be expecting the latest Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall foraging recipe, but you'd be wrong.

The picture is apparently a flock of swans, swimming in a vast milk lake.   Not even the presence of a lady in a blue sukumizu can lift this slide out of the "Tedious Tuesday" classification.
