La Case Creole
That's the name of the restaurant on the left, but a mild session of Googling failed to identify this location.
Actually, a restaurant of that name in Brussels looked like a strong contender - that church reminded me of ones in Bruge - but Google Streetview showed it wasn't.
So....I dunno.

So There I Was....
Half way up a ladder, a ham and lychee sandwich in one hand, and a leather beer-can cover in the other, when old Bert Johansen shouts out "Say Cheese For The Camera".
It was all I could do to turn half around, and quietly pass gas.

Climb Aboard
All aboard the Western Airlines aircraft.
Western Airlines no longer exists - consumed by the predatory Delta Airlines in 1987,
The plane is interesting - the rather square windows are unusual - not a great design from the stress raiser viewpoint. I suspect that this beauty is a Convair CV-240. But I could be wrong.

After yesterday's graduate, we have the actual Graduation Ceremony from the same set.
...and remember - the photographer kept this hugely underexposed slide. I wonder what his thinking was - "In years to come, I'll show this to my grandchildren and say "I was there. Maybe.""

The Bridges of Alvaston County
Although "The Bridges of Madison County" are well known, it's less widely known that covered bridges originate in Derbyshire, UK.
Alvaston, once a quiet market town is now a bustling suburb of Derby, and it was here that the covered bridge originated in 1525. Legend had it that the first one was build to prevent itinerant peddlars from being hit by leaping salmon.
Pictures is the 19th century bridge over the river Derwent at Raynesway.
