As usual, no info on this slide, but I guess most educated people would realise that this is of a part of Canada.

More usefully, that' a distinctive structure on the horizon.

The CN Tower is a 553.3 m-high (1,815.3 ft) concrete communications and observation tower in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Built on the former Railway Lands, it was completed in 1976, and held the record for the world's tallest free-standing structure for 32 years from 1975–2007 and was the world's tallest tower until 2009.

"The Bird"



Not many people know that Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" was actually a sequel to Norman Fassbinder's "The Bird"

While Norman's film was a flop, Hitchcock recognised that there was a kernel of a good story in there.

So, Hitchcock changed the location, the plot, the genre, the lead character, the language, the scrip and the art direction....and the result was ... legendary.
