So, there I was, preparing a random slide for posting, with no information on it, and thinking - "35% of all slides must be some impressive cathedral that the tourists had a coach trip to. Yawn."
...when I thought.... there's something about this location that doesn't look very church-y.
Sure enough, some search-fu revealed that this was Great Mosque of Kairouan. Nice.

It's unclear to me whether this is a small religious statue to a saint, which has subsequently lost his head and hand, or this saint who lost his head and hand has been accurately immortalized in this religious statue.
