The Butcher of Halifax
Don't let his mild-mannered appearance fool you. Mr Alexander Tattsyrup is the famed "Butcher of Halifax".
His name was only ever mentioned in hushed tones, but Mr Tattsyrup (1887-1978) was a past master, and wide respected for his skills with the knife and meat cleaver.
And his sausages were damned fine as well, but his filleting of a lamb shank was a thing of beauty.
