Or maybe "The Baby-Sized Fish".
When I realised that American loved taking pictures of "Fish I Have Caught" and picture of "My Crotch-Goblins", then it was only a matter of time before both appeared in teh same slide.

Being a construction of your humble blogger Tepid Halibut, with the aim of posting one vintage slide image per day, from now until Kingdom Come. (Or until Mr Halibut gets bored.)
Or maybe "The Baby-Sized Fish".

At the request of very nearly one blog-fan, I've posted another slide of that coach from the 1968 Lloret de Mar Easter School Trip. And, obviously, I've been digging around.
It's Ford Thames 570E Plaxton Embassy, built by the venerable firm of Plaxtons.
Bonus - Regarding that ship blocking the Suez Canal...before you ask, Is The Ship Still Stuck?
The Crater Lake Guys, the kings of Voodoo-Bluegrass msuic, are shown here with their support band Fenton and the Armpits (the best Punkabilly Polka band in Nevada) during their country-wide tour of VFW Clubs.
Apologies if this slide suffers from focus problems, but I may have been over-celebrating the Scotland Rugby Team's win in Pars. Hic.
Bonus - Historic
Another "school-kids on an Easter Field Trip to the Mediterranean" slide. And this one has a clue !
From the Lloret de Mar 1968 set, we have this slide of the assumed travel wagon. "Glevum Coaches" leads back to Gloucester, so I'm presuming the school was in that area.
Interesting !
Bonus -
As we trundle towards Easter, it's time to post some slides from the "Easter School Trips to the Continent" sets.
Today, it's from the Ibiza Easter 1973 set, and our two lovely ladies are modelling what the normal teenagers of teh day would be wearing.
Yup. Those flairs are wild.
Bonus - People. Some people are just....
Bonus 2 - Dunning–Kruger effect
OK, pubs in themselves are not dull and tedious (usually), but taking pictures of them (in the 1980's I guess, but before Google Streetview), that's a fairly dull activity.
Still, with a slide with no info on it, there is the fun of figuring out that this pub is in the Castleford region of Yorkshire. And the second image is of the current Google Streetview...view.
Bonus - Tanker Owners can be Jerks.
Nothing written on this slide, but it wasn't difficult to track down some details. Long story short,
1985, and the centre of Birmingham was being redeveloped. And, Reddingtons (Later Reddington's Rare Records) was in the way of "Urban Improvement".
Fortunately, Reddington's was able to relocate, and survived until just a few years ago.
I bet this brings back memories for Birminghamites.

Amongst the hundred of ho-hum slides, there are occasional artistic gems. Like this one.

Bonus - The awesomeness of Excel.
Bonus 2 - Yes!
As spring slowly creeps across the UK, and the mask-wearing masses risk a visit into the garden, then let us remember the halcyon days of 1962, when Moira enjoyed her little corner of paradise. Paradise with a collapsed boat landing stage, but it added to the atmos.
Bonus - French drugs haul 'was strawberry Haribo'

With today being Comic Relief - Red Nose Day 2021, I thought it would be appropriate to celebrate Saint Harvey of Flintshire, that man generally accepted as being the inventor of the "Knock Knock" joke.
He lived in the 9th Century, and attempted to convert the people of Flintshuire to Catholicism through the use of parables, good deeds, miracle (basically card tricks) and .... jokes.
Alas, after a particularly badly-time "The Baron is so stupid" joke, he was eviscerated and died on stage. Literally.
Bonus - Casu marzu: The world's 'most dangerous' cheese
<shrug >
Another smiling, happy bably. Entranced by an off-screen squirrel, or somethng.

A day devoted to the introspective study of the teachings of St Patrick, and the quite contemplation of ...stuff.
Nope. stereotypical Irishmen (sorry, Oirishmen), green beer, leprechauns, Guinness and general drunkenness. St Patrick would be so proud.
So...here's a picture of rural Ireland.
It's pure guesswork, but I think this signpost was at Molls Gap.
You got it
I suspect that this slide was shot here, but ... who knows?
Bonus - You wouldn't want to mess with the FV4005 Stage 2 Tank Destroyer
...and on this slide was written the single, cryptic word :
Ipswich
Perhaps the wisdom of the internet could fathom it's true meaning.
Bonus -
A wonderful slide from the forties or fifties, and I'm assuming it is of somewhere in the Badlands of( South Dakota?).
The slide has deteriorated a little, with some colour desaturation, but I still like it.
Actually, my Search Minions suggest that this might be Beartooth Highway, Montana, and ... it looks quite possible.
Bonus - REPUBLIC XR-12 RAINBOW - World's Fastest Four-Engine Piston-Powered Aircraft
In these troubling times, let's here it for the Medics and the associated skills.

It was either that title, or maybe "Funny....it looks like a Ford".

Ditto for Piers Morgan.
This woman (on right) will be appearing here. Obviously.

Again, it's probably just me, but this slide strikes me as being being of a head of an Italian Family, visiting his counterparts in a Chinese enclave. Could be in New York, could be Montreal, could be ....anywhere.
And certainly not for any illegal activities...officer.

Nope. Not a deliberate retro-filter of some such shit from Instagram. Just a dull slide with the contrast turned up.
Waiting for the diner to open, I guess.

I'm also intrigued by the chrocketed lamp-doily-thing. How retro...

None of you modern day namby-pamby babysitters. No, back in the sixties, you just laced your kids in the stocks or pillory for a couple of days, and went off for that city-break in Budapest.
The good old days.

Why? Why not !
And so it is with this one. I could go through all of my workings, but basically, it turns out to be Brisbane, Australia.
I even found that this signpost has been supplanted / replaced by a later one with slightly different distances. There's a stock picture of it avail from Alamy, but they for 35quid to use it on a website. Nope. Screw that.
Google Lone Pine Koala Signpost if you're interested.
Bonus - The Magic of Television Effects.
It may take a couple of seconds to realise it, but this is one of the most famous artworks in history.
Being subject to an in-situ (naturally) conservation. This is probably a section of the 1978-1999 major restoration.
Since the painting of the original, there have been many parodies, copies, derivative works and inspirations. My favourite occurs quietly in the film M*A*S*H
