The Grain In Spain....
So....I receive a box of Kodachromes in the post, and they're marked as "1965 Spain and Portugal". Oh how my heart soared at the prospect of sunny beach slides, with fresh faced teenagers in bikinis.
(Hmmm. I'm sounding a bit Rolf Harris-y there. Better stop doing that...)
And you can imagine my disappointment when a bunch of inept, underexposed cr*p emerged from the box. OK, I can understand that slide is not a very forgiving medium...by who in their right mind would retain such dross? Mad people, that's who.
Bonus - Thirty Five years on, and I still love this track.
