A Tranquil Scene

Don't know where, but I do know when. July 1967

Bonus

That Looks Familiar

Something familiar from my childhood.

Yes, I know what you're thinking - Isn't that St Giles' Church Of Scotland, on High Street, Elgin, Morayshire.

And you're right. And there's a very similar shot here, even down to the Two Timspons.

But the eagle-eyed will notice a difference. The feature at the top of the tower has been removed between the two images.

Bonus - Match the music review to the rating. "Reads Like A Five"

Fenners Varsity v Aussies Lunch Interval

And what was written on the slide, became the title of the blog-post.

Fenner's is Cambridge University Cricket Club's ground.

Undated, I'm afraid.

Bonus -

Two Doggos

Sorry.   I've been distracted by providing IT Support for part of the evening.

So, this is just Post and Run.

Bonus -

This Should Have Been Interesting

But, alas, the photographer was sub-par.

It was a trip to Russia in 1985...yes, the year that Mikhail Gorbachev took commend, and oversaw the opening up of the USSR.

But THIS is a boring view from a grey river.

Bonus - To lighten the mood...

Sand Dune - Bank Holiday Monday edition

To make up for the lack of a slide yesterday - sorry, but I contracted Ennui - here's a return of Ahmed and Trevor, the Sand Dune Duo.

As you can tell, Trevor has new socks today.

Rural Family in Summer

The evenings are beginning to get shorter, so let's celebrate the arse-end of August with this redneck family.

Cigarette and Seaweed

Perfect pairing for a trip to the seaside.

I dislike them both.

Actually seaweed is OK, but the smell of rotting seaweed. Urgh.

Bonus -

Friday

I'm Leaving, on a Hydrofoil

Don't know when I'll...etc

Closer examination shows the name Palm Beach, but I don't think we're talking America.

Nope, this is the Aussie one. As discussed here

Bonus -

I'm Leaving on a jet plane ...

... though probably just tomorrow.

Same Bat-Time,

Same Bat-Channel.

When Buses Head South For Winter...

They usually travel by rail. Fact.

Bonus -

Where In The Wor ... Ah. Got It.

Quite a nice slide, composition wise, and looks like and interesting fort.

No info on the slide, but ... I found it. I'd say it's Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq Tomb which means we're in New Delhi.

Swimming in the Deep Blue

Looks nice, wherever it is.
