Formally, this should be classified as Bad Photography. Blurred, out of focus, dodgy composition.
Despite that...it works. Like Robert Capa's D-Day Magnificent Eleven, technical brilliance is not necessary for memorable photos. OK, this is not in the same league, but this shot does reflect the fifties, with London and the Thames still recovering from the war. Note the dock cranes and the lack of hi-rise buildings. Nice.
