Outside his Atlanta condo, Mr Frederic Lucas tried to demonstrate his prototype Light-Sabre in March 1959. However, due to a defective Flux Capacitor, the demo was an abject failure, and the US Space Marine Corp left in a right royal huff.
Years later, his son George would remember the invention and used a working version in his films. C'est La Vie.
